Abraham Gomez

Abraham Gomez serves as the College Navigator for the College Savings department. In this position his primary focus is on assisting Nevadans when it comes to planning, preparing & saving for higher education. Abraham is a compassionate individual who devotes time to volunteering when he can. Abraham loves spending his time volunteering at the Nevada Youth Network, a non-profit that assist students with afterschool activities year around. Most recently, Abraham served as the GEAR-UP Ambassador at Nevada State College, where he enjoyed working with his cohort of students.

Abraham was born & raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, he attended Bishop Gorman High School and continued his education at the University of Nevada, Reno, where he received his bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies. Abraham is strongly committed to assisting students achieving their dreams when it comes to post-secondary education. Abraham enjoys watching sports & is a die-hard Los Angels Dodgers fan.

The College Navigator works with families, students, school administrators, educators & community partners when it comes to informing individuals about educational or career opportunities after high school. Additionally, the College Navigator works & collaborates with all Nevada school districts, as well as with the Nevada System of Higher Education.
