Cindy Mora is a Program Officer I with the College Savings Division of the Nevada Treasury where she focuses on community outreach efforts for the Nevada Prepaid Tuition Program. As a proud Las Vegas native and first-generation American, Cindy brings a deep personal understanding of the challenges many minorities and underserved families face when planning for higher education.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Her previous experience includes working in the Nevada State Legislature where she conducted legislative research, drafted policy briefs, and engaged in constituent outreach.
Cindy is bilingual in Spanish and English, utilizing her communication skills to connect with diverse communities throughout the state. With a personal understanding of the barriers families face, she is passionate about making the college journey easier to understand and more accessible for everyone.
