Leslie serves as the Governor Guinn Millennium Scholarship Program Officer I in the College Savings Division at the State of Nevada Treasurer’s Office. Born and raised in Las Vegas, Leslie is a proud product of the Clark County School District and an alumnus of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Finance. A first-generation college graduate, she credits her parents for emphasizing the importance of education, along with their encouragement throughout her educational journey.

While she attended UNLV, she worked for the Nevada System of Higher Education as an administrative assistant and as a substitute teacher for the Clark County School District. Upon graduating, she spent time working for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation as a Financial Institution Specialist in Los Angeles, California.

Through Leslie’s professional and educational experiences, she gained a love for promoting financial literacy and has a passion for encouraging others to continue their education beyond high school. She is excited to be able help educate students, parents, and members of the community about the various programs that the state offers to help them accomplish their goals.
